CARTOONIST'S BLOCK SUCKS

I cannot fucking draw a damn thing and have it look like I want. I'm astounded I was even able to make the Spanky Doodle banner at the top of the blog two days ago. Here's an excerpt from a story I'm working on instead. I'm trying my damnedest to draw this thing, I can picture exactly what it looks like in my head, but dammit....

Anyways:

"As he sat on the beach on the last day of summer, Edward Burndart wasn't exactly sure what he was looking at. He had been to the zoo before, sure, and read his share of books, but what came crawling towards him that afternoon was unlike any animal he had ever seen.
It was about the size of a large dog, perhaps a St. Bernard, and walked on four legs, though it appeared to have several more growing out of its sides. The front legs were much larger then the back, fur-less skin tight over rippling muscles and ending in three long fingers and a sharp claw. The creature's back legs resembled those of a horse, but where feet should have been were meaty stumps of burned-looking flesh. The smaller, deformed looking arms on its sides writhed and grasped at the air as the beast struggled for breath. Its face, well, Edward tried not to look at its face, which looked as if someone had taken a dog's snout and ripped it open four ways. A swollen purple tongue lolled in and out of its mouth, bringing thick ropes of green saliva pouring out onto the sand."

Ok, so. Here's what I'm gonna try to do. I've been in a massive rutt when it comes to drawing these past few months. So in an effort to reboot my creativity drive, I'm going to post AT LEAST one new piece or art here each day. Drawings, clips on animations, song lyrics, bits of stories I'm working on, whatever. I need to get through this block! I'm on my iPhone right now but when I get back home I'll whip something up.
